Unbelievable that this is taking place in Our Country, no less here in Our Community. But it isnโ€™t just Saturday/Sunday that this took place. I am hearing reports that a similar action occurred last night, in the same location. We must hold our State and Federal Officials Accountable, if not now, when?! Heartbroken ๐Ÿ’”

Due process of law is a fundamental principle in legal systems, guaranteeing fairness and impartiality in all legal proceedings. The Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution explicitly protect due process rights, ensuring that no one is deprived of life, liberty, or property without it.

The Fifth Amendment protects against federal government actions violating due process, while the Fourteenth Amendment applies the same protections to state governments.

Shouldnโ€™t Nashville be โ€œunder the due process umbrella?โ€

My heart breaks for these families. No explanation as to where loved ones are

Or if we will ever see them again. How can we use the word โ€œfreedomโ€ now? If one disappears, any of us can.

This is not OK! In fact it is horrible and un-American. This is not how we are supposed to do things in this country. How many of them were here on green cards, or actually citizens.

'THP said the operation targeted โ€œareas with a history of serious traffic crashes and suspected gang activity,โ€ and resulted in โ€œa fewโ€ warrant-related arrests.' That's from the Banner. The areas were the target -- not necessarily particular people -- except for those "few" warrant-related arrests. I question that claim. Then those behind the actions start rumors about weapons and gangs and drug-related crimes when it's a general roundup to show power and incite fear. Thank you, Stephen Miller and minions.

Thanks, Ann. That item in the Nashville Banner this morning was a remarkable piece of journalism.

I remember well years ago (not sure whose admin: may have been Obama) the reports of LA MIGRA (Immigration agents and raids) were not uncommon in Tennessee. Word would travel very quickly in the community and those without papers (ie illegally entrants) would go into hiding until the "coast was clear". This seems like the same as before.

Keel: Please allow me to respond to your article.

According to the great philosopher Joan Baez, not confused with social philosopher Thomas Sowell, action is the antidote to despair. ICE's action is to continue to work to keep communities safe. It was reported that the action led to arrest and seizure of illegal drugs and weapons. This information was absent from your article.

Your words continue to prove that you are on the wrong side of righteousness.
