What is most galling is elected officials who use this as an opportunity to enhance their political careers, without regard for what is best for the public.

Embarrassing. Watching the video of the infamous meeting both inside and outside the building reminded me of a miniature January 6. Otherwise good and reasonable people completely losing it. Although their opinion is out numbered 2-1 here they think they hold the majority view. It is unbelievable and very sad.

Well reasoned article, Keel. I am more amazed at the behavior of GOP legislators than of the public. It took me back to the days when Casey Jenkins ran for Mayor and used the opponents of school busing to rouse an audience into meanness. A photographer and I were at his big rally at the Fairgrounds and were threatened similarly by a crowd which had been whipped into insensible anger. To Casey's credit, he intervened and stopped what could have been serious for all concerned. Keep stoking the fire for sensibility because we need your voice.

No words to express how sad this is for the children in Tennessee.

Your article is outdated. You are using 2019 science from the CDC and Dr. Fauci to claim triumph over nonsense.

Why was bad behavior on display at the school board meeting? In the past 2 years, the medical professionals thru study/research are moving the information needle away from 2019 CDC science and Dr. Fauci. In time, this information has been made public and now many citizens question your science. In response, the questioning has caused the 2019 CDC and Dr. Fauci to

back track. When the children are the center point, the interest level increases. Those citizens had a right to question the school board and challenge their decision.

Your support of out dated science falls very short of an absolute result. More and more medical professionals prove it every day with updated information. It is not nonsense. The parents are paying attention

Again, reality and truth are missing from your article.

You are correct. This is nonsense. You select Dr. Fiscus to lead off your article. Enough is enough with a failed private practice, a fired Vaccine Queen, and an advocate for a communist technique to line children up for the vaccine without parent's consent.

You present your self as a respected author/journalist. However, that status would not be questioned if you use individuals with unchallenged resumes.
