I agree with your every word. If I prayed it would be that we’d vote Lee, Blackburn, Hagerty and Ogles (with his gerrymandered district and disgusting Christmas card) out of office. Along with some other Republican lawmakers. Thank you for always being a voice of reason.

Oh, Keel. Still no words to describe what my friends whose children were at the school went through as they waited and waited. And the children saw it all. I will fight with you and with others to stop this until we win. Our children are so precious.

Thank you, Keel. You have a bigger voice than most of us. I pray (really pray) that it is heeded by those who have the power to change gun laws. Now we’ll see if they have the courage. Sadly, I doubt it.

Well and appropriately said my friend. May I use your platform to urge you and all your friends to go to wpln.org and see the link to one of the most beautiful tributes and challenges I have ever heard. By the headmistress' friend Anna Caudill, who also politely calls out "Marsha and Bill" explaining why titles aren't used because of relationships. I happened to hear this on the brilliant "This is Nashville" show yesterday. Please do yourself a favor and spend the most meaningful 23 minutes you will ever spend about this subject. Link is entitled 'She was just a dynamo' on the first page of the website.

Thanks you for your very strong message today. One of the precious girls that died is a family in our church. Several of our church families have children that attend Covenant. How many kids and adults have to die before we change? Assault weapons have to go. Please keep getting the word out. It's takes all of us to make the change. God Bless you for your courage to speak up for all of us.

Thanks Keel for so specifically and articulately expressing what almost all of us are thinking. Unfortunately it's obvious that none of the Republican legislators in Washington or Nashville intend to take any action about the availability of military type weapons. Voters must replace them with those who will.

100% correct Keel. A Christmas card commemorating the birth of the Prince of Peace, featuring family members with giddy smiles while holding automatic weapons, reflects a society in ruin.

Well said, Keel. I work next door to Covenant School at Brookdale Green Hills Cumberland assisted living-as Concierge for 100 residents. Those kids often sang for our residents. And I have a good friend who teaches there.

Unfortunately, many of their constituents believe as they do. They WANT their guns! The BIGGER the better.

You speak for a majority of Americans. I am not certain if a majority of Tennessean‘s agree but I am very thankful for your strong, reasoned voice. It is desperately needed; a clarion call when the masses don’t hear our elected “leaders” making sense.

Thank you for your good sense comments. I have called a few and will call more legislators who ousted those 2 young men on Thursday. I said "thank you" for most likely unintentionally giving these good people (the people who protested, the Tennessee Three) a national platform. I have asked any of those 3 I've been able to contact to not let this plea die.

Keel, please stop calling it the "gun lobby." Calling it a "lobby" makes it appear legitimate. A "lobby" sounds the same as a group of concerned citizens organizing to get funding for a new community park or get women the right to vote.

This is BRIBERY. It's giant corporations and well funded organizations with gigantic slush funds at their disposal. They say "we'll give you this giant lump of cash if you OBEY us and make sure there is never even the slightest thing that can diminish the amount of guns we can sell. We'll even tell you what to say. Tell everyone the 'radical left is coming for your guns' and get people to think even the slightest law is a gross infringement on rights."

It's not just about guns, either. This is why we don't have affordable healthcare. In both areas (just to name two of many) we are the only developed country in the world to have the same problems. No other wealthy country on earth makes life-saving medical care contingent on money or a job. And no other developed country has anywhere near as many massacres. We have one per day.

Sadly Democrat politicians are usually cowards. They don't call it out as bribery because then they will have to answer questions about the giant sums of money they get. And they're neutered in TN by their own national party conceding rural states to the other side.

To end this we need either both parties to come out against big money controlling our elected government or the people need to make them.

And one of the best ways ordinary people like us can get the people to pay attention is by using the right words. It's **money that controls people**. That's bribery. When people realize this has been going on this whole time, that our government LETS itself be controlled by bribes by making it legal and changing the name to "donations" instead of BRIBERY, people will start to demand change from BOTH parties rather than just fight amongst ourselves.

Thank you for everything you do, Keel.
