It is interesting to contrast the caution of the “we cannot act while passions are inflamed” argument with “we must expel these members immediately for breaking decorum.”

Well, another powerful message for all of us to ponder. Our church, our families, our friends are still reeling from the Covenant tragedy. Please keep writing about the issues we face as a community, state and the U.S. Hope you have a good week. Blessings!

Keel, no one could have better expressed the TN status than YOU just did. Well done!

Working next door to Covenant School, I sadly pass twice daily the memorials by the road. And think of my good friend who teaches Art there. I know I’ll never forget 3/27/23 when our assisted living community was on lockdown all day, as the traumatic news poured in.

Sorta feels like our TN Legislature is on their own “party lockdown” to do anything to keep these tragedies from happening again, doesn’t it?

Amen! Do not forget! And continue to remember how TN GOP in legislature does NOT want debate. If you’re not registered to vote, do that now. And vote in every election because ALL votes matter!

Thank you Kent, per the usual. My street has the red bows too.

On these beautiful spring days, children should be able to play without fear. Shame on legislators who put guns first.

Keep reminded everyone Keel.

Don’t Ever Forget. Great article Mr. Hunt.

Forever, humans have slaughtered other humans. And for over centuries humans have refined and willingly created more effective weapons to slaughter other humans with. Yet, we still cannot collectively admit that to arm the potential killer that lurks in so many with such lethal weapons is to guarantee that the innocent will continue to suffer. And arming them we are. All the complacent people, the ones who choose to remain ignorant of these truths…you choose to not see what the greedy makers of these weapons and what they all so obviously think. Collateral damage. That is us to them. This is not an acceptable way to live, yet greed and faceless fear have made us our own worse enemy.
